In 1985, Joseph “Joe” Enright started a venture that would become not only a well-respected business, but also a multigenerational success story. With his wife Christy by his side as accountant and a staff of six that included Al Wong in the office and Scott Patton, Joe Groaning and Oscar Damo in the field, Structural Systems Inc.

In its early days, the fledgling company took on primarily concrete flatwork and driveways. Eventually broaden services to include concrete spalling repair and restoration projects. As the succession of successful projects grew, so did our reputation.

Today, Damien Enright leads Structural Systems, carrying forward his father’s legacy of innovation and growth. The company now employs 90 people and has completed projects across all major Hawaiian Islands, including concrete spalling repairs at the Polynesian Cultural Center and the Hale Koa Hotel, guardrail work at Pacifica Honolulu and the Ambassador Hotel of Waikiki, and many other residential and commercial projects.
